These opera-length mittens give the illusion of layering statement bracelets, achieved through an intricate stitch motif that was inspired by the iconic chain link detail featured across Cartier's Maillon Panthère collection of bracelets, watches and necklaces.

Our mittens start their journey in Inner Mongolia on the Cocoa Farm where a consortium of herdsman are reverting back to age-old farming practices that protect both the land and their goats. Gold-certified by the Cradle-to-Cradle Institute in Amsterdam, our single-origin, Grade A cashmere is 100% traceable, spun and dyed in the heart of Italy by Botto Giuseppe - a mill established in 1876. Our family-run factory in Scotland then 3D knits the yarn on a 12 gg Shima Wholegarment machine and their small team hand-finishes, and packs your mittens with the utmost care. They are based in Hawick, the global heart of heritage cashmere, where the River Teviot has been finishing forever sweaters with its pure waters for ages.

Hand-washing is recommended, but if you follow these easy instructions, you can machine wash at home too. Once washed, make sure never to hang your sweater. Fold to store with cedar or lavender to deter moths.

HAND WASH
1. Fill a basin with cool–lukewarm water.
2. Add a small amount of wool-safe detergent.
3. Submerge the garment and gently squeeze the water through the fibres.
Do not rub, wring or twist.
4. Soak for 5–10 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly in cool water.
6. Press out excess water by rolling in a clean towel.
7. Reshape and dry flat. Never tumble dry.

MACHINE WASH
1. Turn the garment inside out and place it in a mesh laundry bag.
2. Select a wool, delicate, or hand-wash cycle.
3. Set the temperature to cold or 30°C max.
4. Use a small amount of wool-safe detergent.
5. Choose the lowest spin setting (600rpm or below).
6. Remove immediately after the cycle finishes.
7. Reshape and dry flat. Never tumble dry.test
