A dropped-shoulder, turtleneck sweater with bracelet-inspired cuffs, this single jersey sweater is made-to-order with 100% virgin cashmere at a family-run factory in Hawick, Scotland - the home of legacy cashmere. Ships 14 business days from date of purchase.
The extended cuffs of the Turtleneck feature two bracelet-inspired stitch motifs. One references a architectural piece designed by Mauboussin c 1940, which we call the Beaded Pont. The other looks to an emblematic gold chain from WWII which we call the Caterpillar.
Our sweaters start their journey in Inner Mongolia on the Cocoa Farm where a consortium of herdsman are reverting back to age-old farming practices that protect both the land and their goats. Gold-certified by the Cradle-to-Cradle Institute in Amsterdam, our single-origin, Grade A cashmere is 100% traceable, spun and dyed in the heart of Italy by Botto Giuseppe - a mill established in 1876. Our small family-run factory in Scotland then knits the yarn on a 12 gg Shima machine and expertly links, hand-finishes, and packs your garment with the utmost care.
Hand-washing is recommended, but if you follow these easy instructions, you can machine wash at home too. Once washed, make sure never to hang your sweater. Fold to store with cedar or lavender to deter moths.
