Custom Crewneck | Custom Cashmere

Custom-design our crewneck sweater! Choose a sweater colour and one of three necklace-inspired collars. We will knit your sweater specially for you in 100% virgin cashmere at our family-run factory in Hawick, Scotland - the home of legacy cashmere. Classic-fit in single jersey it will ship 14 business days from date of purchase.

The Crewneck can feature your choice of three collars - each inspired by its own 20th c European fine jewellery piece. The Watch Hill collar references the iconic chain link of Cartier's Maillon Panthère collection. The Arezzo collar reworks a mesh design famously engineered by UnoAErre. And the Foxtail collar shows a handsome chevron pattern plucked from an ornate bracelet from the 1950s.

Our sweaters start their journey in Inner Mongolia on the Cocoa Farm where a consortium of herdsman are reverting back to age-old farming practices that protect both the land and their goats. Gold-certified by the Cradle-to-Cradle Institute in Amsterdam, our single-origin, Grade A cashmere is 100% traceable, spun and dyed in the heart of Italy by Botto Giuseppe - a mill established in 1876. Our small factory in England then knits the yarn on a 14 gg Stoll machine and their expert linker Eirini assembles, hand-finishes, and packs your garment with the utmost care. Their team of programmers are first-class and can make your custom-design dreams come true.

Hand-washing is recommended, but if you follow these easy instructions, you can machine wash at home too. Once washed, make sure never to hang your sweater. Fold to store with cedar or lavender to deter moths.

HAND WASH
1. Fill a basin with cool–lukewarm water.
2. Add a small amount of wool-safe detergent.
3. Submerge the garment and gently squeeze the water through the fibres.
Do not rub, wring or twist.
4. Soak for 5–10 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly in cool water.
6. Press out excess water by rolling in a clean towel.
7. Reshape and dry flat. Never tumble dry.

MACHINE WASH
1. Turn the garment inside out and place it in a mesh laundry bag.
2. Select a wool, delicate, or hand-wash cycle.
3. Set the temperature to cold or 30°C max.
4. Use a small amount of wool-safe detergent.
5. Choose the lowest spin setting (600rpm or below).
6. Remove immediately after the cycle finishes.
7. Reshape and dry flat. Never tumble dry.
